Three days of largely peaceful and fun-filled Carnival was marred by a small element who attended with the intention of causing trouble as night fell on Monday’s event.

ALI ABDUL-HAMID, 27, from Lanark Road, W9 was sentenced at Inner London Crown Court on 27 August to three and a half years in prison after pleading guilty to malicious wounding to a DJ outside the SeOne Club, Weston Street in May last year.
